Titel: Forecasting analysis of runoff for reservoir regulation of dams and weirs in terms of hydro power plant operation
The present and past projects are usually based on past hydrological data. Real time forecasting involves the estimation of the magnitude of a variable at a prescribed or anticipated instant of time. For example what will be the level of flood discharge or stage in a river or reservoir after 10 hours from now or what will be the energy output of a hydro power station in a particular day or month. This study is constructed in two parts. The first one contains an investigation of different factors affecting the runoff and in this way the useful volume of dams or weirs. The second part includes the time forecasting systems.
